Sorry for taking so long to update this blog, things have been a little bit hairy around here! We went to Huntsman on Friday last week. Kent had what we thought was his regular dose of Chemo. We left feeling pretty good, all things considering. Just before we got home, we received a phone call from Dr. Ackerly. He is Kent's Oncologist. We really like him. Apparently the nursed made a HUGE mistake and over dosed Kent with 3 different types of Chemo, he was only supposed to receive one. So we are just a little bit on pins and needles, we must be extremely careful. Kent cannot get any kind of wound, because he could bleed out. Along with the fact that his good cell's are being killed along with the bad ones. They now believe that he will loose his hair, before they thought maybe not. The weekend was o.k. because it takes a few days for the result to hit him. Today he is extremely tired, and the week should only get worse. We hope not, but have been told that he will probley need a blood transfusion on Wednesday. And we will have to go up to Huntsman twice as many times as before. So things are just a little bit scary. Kent has a great attitude, and my cold is all but gone. So we take the good with the bad! Keep praying for us, all of your prayers are very appreciated!
