This is actually the update for Saturday. I am just way late. Sorry. We have had a lot of visitors today, and Tammy stayed the night last night. Thank you to everyone who is coming to visit. It cheers me up and I know that it does Kent a world of good. I makes his brain pan work, and helps him to be motivated to learn. We love you all, we have such amazing friends and family.
Today Kent platelets did drop again. We were expecting it, and they are expected to drop again tom marrow. Because they are getting so low, Kent did have an infusion of platelets. We are hoping that tomorrow we will see better numbers. The last thing he needs is a brain bleed.
We are hearing and understanding more words today. And Tammy had him writing his name. He still just gets so mad at his tongue not working. I cannot imagine what he is going through. It is hard enough for me to watch. He is eating again, and although he does get warm each night his temp always comes back down. They think it is because he is working so hard coughing and aspirating. They are less concerned about his aspiration because he is coughing it out. That is good. The Dr's are encouraged and so are we with his progress.
