Christmas Eve we spent at Michelle and Cody’s having a large feast, like always way to many good foods to stuff my face with. Thanks Russ for the carrot cake, we all love it.
We were also able to have Russ and Sandy and Nadine and Roscoe spent the time with us and it is always a pleasure to have our extended loves ones here.
After our dinner we took some of the kids and all the white paper bags they made and went over and spent a short time with Kent and mom and dad. We lit the candles and put them on the graves to let them know how much we miss them at this time of year. We didn't stay long cause it was so, so cold.
On Christmas day I had the kids come in the afternoon and we did the traditional omelets and opened the gifts and stocking. This will be the last year of Santa doing the stocking at grandmas.
Thanks Cody for doing the cooking, Kent would have loved your taking his job. Again we got to have Russ and Sandy and Nadine and Roscoe spend the time with us and we are so blessed that they care enough that they would want to be with this crazy bunch.
Thanks again to all of you for your cards, calls and stopping by during this Christmas Season it did help to see the love and concern that you all have for our family at our first Christmas season without our husband, father, grandfather and friend. We love you all..
