Chemo "The Repeat"

This chemo so far hasn't been as hard on Kent. He has had to have a few nasty shots in the rear, and his soul is taking quite a beating right now. He and I have started therapy up at Huntsman. I think it will be good for the both of us. I also have had a few tests because I have been having some pains that the Docs thought could have been my heart. It is probably just stress.

Kent went this weekend up to Chalk Creek. He and Chad left on Friday. I think it is good for him to get out, and it gives me a break as well. Chad said that a few nice size Elk have come off of the mountain this year. But really Kent just wants to toodle around in his heated Kabota.

The reality is that it is probably pretty cold up there. And even though Kent loves that mountain, he will be happy to get down here in a nice warm house. Since his big sleep a few years ago, he really gets cold easy...

Well its official. Our Disney trip is all booked, and we are now on a count down. I am very excited, and I love to go with the Grandkids. We are staying in some nice hotels that should be very comfy for Kent and I. And hopefully will accommodate our naps! We will also be going to SeaWorld and the Wild Animal Park. Already we are all buzzing around about how nice it will be to get away. Christmas will be small this year, but our memories will last forever!

I am glad to hear that things are going better. I am jealous that you guys are going to Disneyland. I agree that memories are way better than a big Christmas. I can't wait to see the pictures!

My dad started his (really harsh)chemo again last Monday and had his 2nd transplant on Friday. I got to be there to watch the transplant. It was so neat - such a miracle. These doctors are amazing and we are so lucky to have the Huntsman Center so close.
I'm glad you guys have such a fun trip to look forward to. Hang in there and keep on keepin on!
