Going Buggy

I wanted to start this post with a bizarre ritual that our family has. Bugs! When Michelle & Cody lived here we used to go out on the back porch and slap fly's. Me and Michelle would have contests on who could get the most. I am sure that year we put a dent in the total fly population in Utah. We would like upwards to 100 a nite. We were like crazy's. Now the tradition continues, only this time it is squash bugs. Those little buggers have taken over the garden, and me and Tammy have been in an all out War to kill those little buggers. We love to see the little suckers floating in vinegar in a jar, dieing! Sick, maybe a little. Tammy has even suffered an "Squash Bug" explosion that sent her to ER. When she tried to kill the little buggers in the fire it exploded and burned her face, hair, eye lashes, eye brows and even her lungs. But we refuse to let the little buggers win. And squash bug advise you have would be greatly appreciated...

Well, I am trying to get back into the swing of things. This last week has been such a bummer. I thought that this little knee surgery would be easy to recover from. It wasn't. It has been a miserable pain in the rear. Kent has been free to come and go as he pleases. He probley likes me not following him around every moment. I am feeling better now, and that is good because life just cruses along whether you like it or not. And I am on the fast track.

Tomorrow me and Kent go to Hunstman, he has a double chemo treatment. He should be tired in a few days. When we do more than one kind of chemo it usually takes all day. We are taking Tammy with us tomorrow because she is going to have a Cancer work up done. She has scared me a little over the last few years. Yesterday she had a basil cel carcinoma removed off of her face. We are lucky that it was Basil Cell. But she has had some interesting Lumps in her breast as well over the last few years. So I feel happy not only that we get to spend that time together, but that Huntsman can watch her closely.

I wanted to post some pictures of Kents last little romp up to Chalk Creek. Last weekend the "boys" all went up for a 4 wheeler ride. Justin wrecked Cody's 4 wheeler, and he is lucky he didn't get really hurt. For that we are all thankful. Kent just putt'ed along in the Kabota, and they all had a nice "short" trip. It takes so long to get up there and with the cost of gas we have spent a lot less time camping.
