As the World Turns

Well this week we went to Dr. Fonseca. We had an appointment, but after the fiaso on the mountain it turned out good to have. She took Kent off of a bunch of meds. And she gave him something different for his horrible headache, that just seems to continue on. After trying the headache meds, they really didn't do anything at all. And Kents Blood pressure is so up and down, from one hour to the next we don't know what will happen. Someone has mentioned the pacemaker again, but is that a good idea? Kent doesn't handle surgery well. So I am basically a basket case, wondering from one second to the next whether he will fall. He is sooo wobbly, so often now. Like at least 2 or 3 times a day.

Kent wants to drive so bad, and although he understands he cannot he still hates it. And now that we have taken away the tractors he is feeling very useless. It is a very hard emotion to help him with. Seems like we take everything away, to keep him safe. But then what is he supposed to do with his time? He has great days and really bad days. He does a lot better with visitors. So come and visit him, he needs ya. And so do I.

We did let him have his Kabota back yesterday. He loves that! He sprayed it off with the power washer and then beamed like a teenager as he drove it around. And that makes all of us happy. We all love to see him happy.

So we will go to the Dr. again next week to see if we have made any progress off the meds. I hope that it turns out better than it looks. Because we don't really see any difference. Except in the 7 times a night to pee. That has slowed down, thank goodness.

Still stress'n July the 9th a bit. That is when we will head to Huntsman for a body scan to see if the cancer has slowed of stopped again. Oh how we pray that it has. And that Kent can regain more of his mobility back. Bless his heart, he wants to so bad. I want him to as well. I am like him, tired of the Kent Sitting...
