We try to laugh at this. The girls have been telling everyone that I beat the crap out of Kent, and this is what I left. I am tuff!
So we waited all day for the results to the MRI. Funny how Dr.'s are never around when you need them. But the MRI was clean! That is really good news. They think that the stroke was not new. And that he has a really nasty bump on his head. His eyes are black because he hit the pavement so hard that the brain came forward and blackened his eyes. He has a whopp'n headache. And hopefully that will go away as he recovers. He is not allowed to walk ANYWHERE without someone standing right next to him. He is still very dizzy.
So what happened? What we now believe happened is that his blood pressure was to low, and his heart rate was WAY low. And that caused him to black out. He was unconscious. And they are keeping him at the hospital again tonight. Hopefully all will go well, and he can come home tomorrow. They took him off of ALL his blood pressure meds, and now they are going to try and get him regulated onto what will work now. Since his blood pressure has been down, he is clearing in thinking, and speech. Although everyone understand, (but him) that he is pushing TO HARD! He is extremely tired, mostly because of the Chemo. But he has a 3 week break from that now. And they will do the PET scan of his body, to check and see if the tumors are shrinking on July 9th. Overall we feel like these are all better things to hear. They do still remain concerned about his heart, and at one point even suggested a Pacemaker. But only time will tell. So we continue on. This is just another stumbling block. He will have an Ultrasound on his heart tomorrow, and the test from enzyme's in the heart. We are praying that they come back good! Thanks for all the Luv everyone is sending. I will update tomorrow.
Here are Luke and Kent. Chill'n!
