Kent has been such a handful in the last week. He still has very tired times, but he constantly wants to get out. I can understand, he is so bored. If I don't watch him close he skoots out the door, just to wander. Not a confused wander, mostly just a get me out of the house, wander!
He is going to start going to physical, occupational, and speech therapy at Utah Valley Hospital next week. These nurses, and therapist's that actually come to the house leave a lot to be desired. There has really only been one that actually did what she said she would do. It is not just frustrating to me, but Kent feels like they just waste his time as well. I think it will be good for him to get out. I know that it will do me some good.
Cody took Kent out last Saturday, over to the Greenhouse. Kent was so happy, and Cody said that as soon as they pulled up he asked for Paul. Michelle said he got a little teary trying to talk to his friend. He wants to be able to communicate. Jim and Kenny have also been visiting Kent on a regular basis. Thank heavens for good friends. I am just thankful for everyone who has been over for a visit.
Thursday we will be going up to Huntsman again. This time Kent will visit with Dr. Ackerly, and have his blood work done. After we find out the results he may or may not go and have his chemo. They are leaving that appointment open, just in case. Pray for us, Kent has so much faith. I know that he can beat this if the Lord is o.k. with that. Thanks for all you do.
