Flower Power

Well I went over to the Greenhouse today and got some flowers. It was so nice. Kent stayed with the girls in the sales house. I brought a bunch of goodies home, and set to planting. Although I would rather be out traveling with a healthy Kent, I will enjoy having a pretty yard with lots of flowers. My pots are beautiful, I put a bunch of them on the deck so that we can enjoy them when ever we go out to sit.
What a blessing it has been to have Chad and Tammy move over here. Chad is such a farmer at heart. Who would'a thought. He is quite the natural at it. Tammy comes over whenever I need her, and it is so great to have the grand kids so close. Wish we could get Cody and Michelle to move over here. Chad never miss's a day, he is always changing water. Feeding and basically doing all of the chores that me and Kent are not able to do. He is such a great son in law.

On Monday Kent starts over to Utah Valley Rehab. He was more tired today, and I am hoping that he will have a little pep back on Monday. But I am pretty sure he wont. The Chemo really takes a toll on his body, and makes him even more tired than he already is.
If things go well Kent will have Chemo again on Wednesday, and he will be doing rehab all week. Should be a very busy week, but I am ready for the getting out. I am tired of staying in the house.
We had dinner here with the kids on Friday, and watched the Jazz game. Kent woke up early on Friday and that was the first thing he said "Cody and Chad coming over to watch the Jazz.." Funny how he remembers the really important things, like the Jazz!
Ardell Brown brought the motor home back on Friday as well. Kent was ready to head strait out the door and take it for a spin down to the gas station. Wow, a stoke patient driving down the road in a 3 ton bus. That's a scary thought. I told him he was going to have to wait. As soon as Cody pulled up he said, get the keys. And off he and Cody went. Cody had never driven it before, but he was great at it.
We are going to go up to the sheep range next weekend. Provided that Kent is feeling o.k. and doesn't have any surprises for us. We are planning on all spending the long memorial weekend up there four wheel'n. Kent is hoping that Paul and Kathleen will join us on Monday. Cody and Michelle and Chad and Tammy will be there. And most importantly the grand kids. Should be a blast! It will be nice to get out. And the Motor home is nice to stay in, we cant get far away from Kent's oxygen.
The Bingham Family reunion is going to be in June as well, also a camping reunion. We are all looking forward to that. There are tons of family members to catch up with. Cody and Michelle will stay in the motor home with us. It is easier with the baby. It is so nice to have that motor home, even though we were naughty to buy it. We have really enjoyed it.

I can't believe how well U. Kent keeps surviving all the odds - he is one amazing man!! Glad to hear you're planning on coming up to Chalk Creek in June, too!! Keep up the good work - I can only imagine how monotonous each day seems but things are getting better and better! Thanks also for updating the blog - it's been so good to go in and find out the latest! Love you all ---
